Recycled flooring is tongue and groove boards salvaged by us from demolition, de-nailed and re-packed back into floor lots ready for dispatch.
The majority are 19mm thick to suit a joist and bearer sub-floor, however some floors do come thicker.
Recycled flooring has old nail holes but these can easily be filled in the laying process.
Supply notes
Due to non-standard milling practices in the past, there are a variety of floorboard thicknesses and widths in the above size ranges. Please ask us if you have to match an existing, specific size.
- All timber (recycled and re-milled) is supplied as a random length spread.
- Our timber is not sold as individual boards, it is re-packed into original reclaimed floor lots.
- Occasionally we source imported or bespoke timber species – Oregon, Baltic pine, Cedar and Ramin – though generally these done’t come in large floor lots.
- Finger joint flooring is a floorboard that has a machined joint to increase the length of the board.
