Karri

Botanical name: Eucalyptus diversicolor

Deep rich reddy-browns, long grained, knot free texture.Known as the Kings of the forest, this timber is harvested in the south-west corner of the state. Karri is hard and durable and suits modern overlay flooring (concrete pad) applications, where it is not exposed to moisture. It can be supplied as either recycled or milled. Large stocks are readily available. Larger width floor boards can be milled to order.
